SERVICES
Most personal training starts the same way: you show up, someone hands you a workout, and you hope it's the right one for you. Stepp Up starts differently. Before we program a single set, we assess how you actually move. Where you're strong, where you're not, and what your training history tells us about what to do next. That's the same logic behind the longevity assessment system I built with USC biomechanics researchers Dr. Christopher Powers and Dr. Todd Schroeder, applied to general training too.
Training happens in a private studio inside the Movement Performance Institute in El Segundo, a physical therapy and return-to-sport facility. The environment around you is built by people who rehab injuries for a living*, and the programming follows the NASM OPT model: a structured progression, not a random assortment of exercises pulled from an app.
1-on-1 Personal Training
Our bespoke workout programs are tailored to meet your specific fitness and dietary goals, utilizing stability, cardio, resistance, power, circuit, and zone training where appropriate. In addition, included in every program is session-by-session fitness tracking, weekly workout/nutrition plans, and monthly data review.
Price: $150 || Duration: 60 minutes
Fitness Assessments - FIRST ONE FREE!
Every fitness journey starts with knowing your strengths and weaknesses. At Stepp Up Fitness, we offer two assessments - Baseline and Comprehensive - that give you a full accounting of where you're strong and where we can help you improve.
Baseline: We begin with a discussion of your current workout routine, diet, lifestyle, and goals. Then we analyze your posture both standing and moving through space. After that, we assess your basic cardio capacity and strength performing the five fundamental movement patterns of the human body. When we're done, you'll know exactly what you do well, how we can help you improve, and the steps needed to reach your goal.
Price: FREE when you sign up for 1+ training sessions.
Regular Price: $100 || Duration: 45 minutes.
Comprehensive: Get the full picture. Starting with everything in Baseline, we partner with the world-class Movement Performance Institute to add a video-aided computer analysis of your walking or running (depending on your goals). This is followed by lower-body bio-mechanical strength tests that allow us to not only fully establish your current ability levels but also diagnose any strength deficiencies - perfect for anyone who wants to move more easily, efficiently, and effectively.
Price: $500 || Duration: 90 - 120 minutes.
